              JUST RIBBING YOU!

      Once that early morning gloom gave
way to puffy white clouds and bright rays
of sunshine my wife and I decided it was
warm enough to put the top down in the
Miata and head out to see where the road
might take us.
       In our case that road, or roads, are
usually off the main highways. That
way should we choose to do so, it's a lot
easier to stop and smell the roses.
        But it wasn't the aroma of roses that
filled the air. It was the unmistakable scent
of Barbequed ribs!
        Our journey had taken us into Hamlin
which, as many of you already know, is
home to Kundla's Bar-B-Q. This family
owned open pit bar-b-q has been around
for years and operates on weekends
during the summer.
         Fortunately for us "weekends"
includes Fridays so they were ready
for us and we for them!
          It may not be dinner by candle
light. But it's hard not delight in some
fresh corn, a few French fries, and a
"Combo" of half a chicken and a half
rack of Pork ribs!
           The sun was setting and temperatures
falling as we finally headed home. So we
enjoyed the sunset, rolled up the windows,
put the heater on low......but kept the top
down to top off our day! And a great day
it was!
