A VOICE IN THE CROWD!

     FRIDAY, OCTOBER 20TH., 2017
         A VOICE IN THE CROWD!

     It's been a rough week for my two-year
old grandson. Turns out he has an allergy
to the medicine they gave him for an ear
infection and that resulted in some
swelling and spots all over his little body.
     He spent a couple days with Grannnie
and Grandpa but ever though he smiled and
laughed you could tell he just didn't have
the energy he usually displays. That is,
until Thursday.
       We were waiting for his new medication
to kick in and, ironically, it happened
when we took him to watch his cousin play
Volleyball.
         He's been to a couple games before
and is generally content to sit there and
watch the ball sail back and forth over the
net. This time was different!
         He is beginning to use small
sentences but his latest was the simple
two word phrase "GO RED!" (His cousin
plays for Holy Redeemer which sports
red uniforms,) He cheered it over and
over! His cousin (and Godfather) Jason
watched as he led the cheering.
          They must have been listening
because they won both of their JV games.
I suspect they'll be listening for his cheer
whenever we can get him to the games!
           Hope he's all better, keeps cheering,
they keep winning, and that all your NEWS
is good!
