WITH OR WITHOUT?
Chances are you already got a head
start on this holiday on Monday. May
28th is "National Hamburger Day!"
Hamburgers are a classic
American treat. That's appropriate
because the hamburger was created
here in the U.S.A. They may date
back to the 19th century but that's
speculation.
Most people like them cooked
up on a grill although burgers are
still the big sellers at "Fast Food"
restaurants, You may have heard
of McDonalds and Burger King.
The majority of burger
eaters seem to enjoy cheese on
top but the rest of the toppings
vary from person to person.
Lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, onions,
and bacon are among the favorites.
It's referred to as a "National
Day" but there's really nothing to
back that up.
Judging from the number our
gang consumed Monday the burger
probably should qualify for National
status.
Hope you enjoyed yours and
that all your NEWS is good!
