A LOT TO CELEBRATE!

        A LOT TO CELEBRATE!

   Well will you look at what showed up
today! It's November! Sort of the beginning
of the end of 2019.
    But before we close the books on this
fast moving year consider the fact we've
got a lot to celebrate. And I'm not even
thinking of Thanksgiving!
     November is Adopt a senior pet month,
adopt a turkey month (I suppose you could
combine those two by adopting an old
turkey), Banana pudding lover's month,
Historic bridge awareness month, Manatee
awareness month, National peanut butter
lover's month, and National Pomegranate
month!
      There are about 20 more but all of those
are a bit more serious than those I've listed.
        And in the midst of all those observances
most of us will be getting ready for Christmas!
        There's just not enough time! Even with
that extra hour we get this weekend!
         I believe the time has come to add an
extra month to the year!
         You already have two different calendars,
the Julian and Gregorian, Why not another that
gives us more time?
          And how about that "Leap Year" thing?
It's  one day every four years! Why not an
actual Leap Year? One full year to catch up on
things! You could even keep your age on hold
that period! Who could argue with that idea?
           Let's get Congress to........... Oh, wait
a minute. If this concept requires governmental
action we're going to need more than an extra
year!
