DIG IN!
Today we recognize an old English
holiday dating back to the 1500's. This
is "Plough Monday!" It is always
observed on the first Monday after
January 6th. It marked the unofficial
start of the country's agriculture
season and in times long gone
farmers would literally march through
the towns with their ploughs, singing,
dancing and fund raising for their
upcoming season. I'm in a mood to
celebrate the day today but not in
the original way. As I look out my
windows it's very clear a plough
is needed. But its got nothing to
do with agriculture! Hope you're
all "ploughed out" and that all
your NEWS is good!
