THE PIZZA KING!

     TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 13TH., 2016
                   THE PIZZA KING!

       My brother-in-law Leo loves coming
  home to Pennsylvania. He loves to see
  family, the mountains, and "the old
  homestead."
        But there's another thing that brings
  him back. Pizza!
         His most recent visit began last
  week. I believe he has had pizza at one
  establishment or another nearly every
  day since!
          What better way then to prepare him
  for his trip home than a "send off" visit
  to "The Pizza Capital of Pennsylvania!"
  Yes. Monday evening was spent in Old
  Forge.
          The community claims to have the
  world's best pizza. And a number of
  restaurants claim theirs in the best in
  town.
           We opted for Arcaro and Genell's
  in part because it offered an opportunity
  to work off some of the pizza calories on
  its Bocce Ball courts just outside the
  restaurant.
            Given the quality of pizza
  consumed it is doubtful we made any
  dent on either the calories or, come to
  think of it, the cholesterol we ingested! 
             As Leo returns home to
  California local pizza sales will drop
  substantially unless we can all do our
  part to support the pizza shops.
