A TAXING SITUATION!
It was Ben Franklin who suggested
the only two things cedrtain in life
were death and taxes. Of course there
was no income tax when he made
yjay observation. It was "Honest
Abe" Lincoln who came up with our
first income tax and that was to pay
the debt run up by the Civil War!
But guess what!? That tax was
abolished a decade later. So what
happened? Well Congress happened
and the 16th amendment which
established what has become our
permanent income tax. And just in
case you didn't know today is the
final day to file your income tax
return for last year. Hope you get
it done, have a refund coming,
and that all your NEWS is good!
