TOGETHER AGAIN!
World War I couldn't do it. World
War II couldn't do it. But last year,
for the first time since 1912 the annual
Singley family reunion had to be
cancelled because of the Covid pandemic.
So, yesterday, people who trace their family
roots to the Singley family met, once again,
at a small church outside of the villiage of
Zion Grove, Pennsylvania the adjourned
for a feast and fellowship at the family
farm just a few miles away. The sky was
cloudy but the mood was sunny as cousins.
in some cases very distant cousins, gathered
to exchange family stories and history and
remember those who brought us there when
we were just kids. I'll be posting an album
from the cookout and party on my Facebook
page to give those interested more of a "feel"
for the day's events. I'm hoping this reunion
will continue long after I'm gone and that
future members of the Singley clan will
remember just how deep and long a family's
roots can be. I hope your family has it's own
annual reunion and, if not, consider getting
one together. You won't regret it! Hope you're
successful and that all your NEWS is good!
