Thinking of Old Fezziwig!

   Old Fezziwig was on my mind yesterday!
   You might remember old Fezziwig too. He's
Scrooge's former employer who knew when to
stop working and when to throw a Christmas
Party!
   We must have been with some of Fezziwi's
descendants!
    First, a Christmas party thrown by Cascade
Paper Products for kids of its employees! What
a party! Snacks, crafts, face painting. cotton
candy, music and dancing, and presents
presented by Santa Claus himself!
    At a time when many companies simply
observe Christmas with a day off (some don't
even do that) Cascade goes all with a
company party for workers and their spouses,
then this fantastic party for the kids!
    Company management was on hand to
greet the guests, serve the food, and help
Santa hand out the gifts as well.
     It's a company that deserves some praise for
its thoughtfulness!
     After that party....we went to a party!
     The invitation from these family friends was
worth the travel through a snow storm!
     Christmas is a special time to our friends.
They go all out to welcome everyone and make
them feel at home.
      Their house is decorated inside and out and
they set out a meal that could feed a couple
bus loads of people.
       The Ghost of Christmas Past brought Old
 Fezziwig into Scrooge's memory to remind
him was a festive time Christmas would be for
family and friends!
       How wonderful to realize Fezziwig's
spirit lives on in some really good people.
