That's Entertainment!

So there we were, up at 3am to prepare
for the tour we're hosting to Branson. No
one should be up at 3am. They should not
allow mornings to start at 3am!
Close friends gave us a ride to the airport.
Given the opportunity they'd probably have
a few choice comments about 3am too!
Although our trip takes us to a community
that has now become a major destination for
people seeking entertainment there's very
little song and dance at 3am and certainly
very little to laugh about!
Just the prospect of carrying ID, a
Boarding pass, a jacket, and hat in one hand,
then trying to take your shoes on and off with
the other tends to make comedy the furthest
thing from your mind.
     Or so we thought!
     The Federal Aviation Administration
requires airlines to go through a standard
safety instruction speech with passengers
before any flight gets off the ground. If you've
flown a hundred times, you've heard the speech
a hundred times!
But not like Michelle does it!
Michelle, our flight attendant (they don't have
Stewardess any more), put a little life into her
presentation. It went something like this.......
"Should we lose cabin pressure this oxygen
mask will fall from the ceiling. You should, as
you're screaming and yelling, place it over your
mouth." She went on...."In the event we land in
Lake Michigan you can use your seat as a flotation
device and paddle to shore somewhere."
As the cabin lights were dimmed Michelle
reported they were being lowered for take off and
to make her look better.
I don't know how great the entertainers in
Branson will turn out to be. I just hope they put as
big a smile on our faces as Michelle was able to do!
Hope you've got reason to smile too and that all
 your NEWS is good!
