A FORK IN THE ROAD.

A FORK IN THE ROAD!
On Wednesday we followed Yogi
Berra's advice! We came to a fork in the
road, so we took it!
Well, actually, it wasn't so much a
fork as a T in the road. Sort of.
Whenever we walk the Lehigh Gorge
Trail starting in White Haven he head
south. On Tuesday we realized there's
another section of the trail that goes to
the north. So we decided to give it a try.
As far as I know this stretch of trail
runs up to Mountaintop. The keep word
here is "up!"
It's not like the Giant's Despair
Hill Climb but it is uphill. Most old
rail lines that have been turned into
walking trails are basically level. It's
amazing how a slight grade, perhaps 2%
or so, can make a difference!
Fortunately we brought our walking
sticks along for this short hike and they
came in very handy!
And what goes up must come down
so the walk back was very easy! It's also
kind of neat to see areas we haven't seen
before. We'll have to look for a few more
folks. Or a spoon or something!
Have a great day! Hope all your
NEWS is good!
