THIS DAY THROUGH THE YEARS!
It's December 19th, a very important
date. In 1732 Benjamin Franklin began
publishing Poor Richard's Almanac. On
December 18th of 1776 Thomas Paine
began publishing a series of essays on
"The American Crisis." The first began
with the words "These are the times that
try men's souls." On this date in 1888
Henry Stanley arrived in Africa, He's
the reporter who finally tracked down
Doctor Livingston! In 1974 the ninth
James Bond movie, The Man With The
Golden Gun, hit the big screen. It stared
Roger Moore. On that same date Nelson
Rockerfeller was swore in as Vice President
of the United States under Gerald Ford.
And on this date in 1976 our son, David
James (D.J.) DeCosmo, was born! Happy
Birthday D.J. You picked a great date!
Hope all your NEWS is good!
