INTO THE WOODS!
Here we are more than half way throug
the month and the week and I nearly forgot
to tell you this is "National Forest Products
Week!" We depend of forests for more than
you might know. Air, water, habitat for
wildlife, and lumber for all sorts of things!
But at this time of the year, around these
parts, we also count on another forest
product! It's the colorful autum leaves that
help our economy by bringing tourists around
and ease our minds with those beautiful colors.
On our Travelworld cruise to New England
and Canada last week we saw the change
beginning. And now that I've been home
for all of four days I realize it's time to head
out again to see the colors north of us! So,
by the time many of you read this, my wife
and I will be escorting another Travelworld
ggroup to NH to check the forests there!
Hope you'll get into the woods to enjoy the
leaves and that all your NEWS is good!
