        KEEP WATCHING!

  I look back on my Blogs from

time to time. Some bear repeating.

Some have lost their impact in

time. Like those written in the

midst of the pandemic. But a few

stand as reminders that we should

ever be on alert. It was just a year

ago when I told you that astronomers

had spotted a giant asteroid heading

towards our planet. It was, a predicted,

a "near miss." But "near" in those terms

is relative. Turns out there are many

many objects in space that come what

could be called "close" to earth. In fact

there have been numerous times when

space junk has fallen back down into

our atmosphere. Most just burns up on

the way down. But every now and then

something actually hits! Of course we's

be sure to know it if a huge asteroid

actually collided with our planet! Just

ask the dinosaurs! Oh, wait a minute!

We can't! Because, many believe, a

huge asteroid did smash into earth and

"did away" with those creatures! Maybe

be better keep watching! Closely!!!
