COOL MAN!
This is one of those unusual "holidays"
we can all celebrate in our own way...if
we choose to do so. This is "Joe Cool Day."
Joe Cool, n case you don't remember, is
on of the alter egos of Charles Schultz's
cartoon characters, Snoopy! Dawning
a red sweatshirt with a "Joe Cool logo"
Snoopy could be found leaning against
a lamp post or anything else handy
sporting a pair of dark sunglasses. He
was the Peanuts version of the Fonz from
Happy Days and one cool character at
that. I put on a Susquehanna University
shirt and a pair of sunglasses to celebrate
but I'd be the first to admit I can't quite
match up to the coolness of Snoopy!
Give it your best shot today. Hope you're
super cool and that all your NEWS is good!
