        LIMERICK DAY!

  Welcome to May 12th everybody.

It's Limerick day! This particular

date was selected because it is the

birthday of writer Edward Lear who

was famous for his limericks. The

word Limerick comes from Limerick,

Ireland. Realizing this was the day I

quickly tried to compile one of my

own. A Limerick is usually a humorous

verse of 5 lines, the last one rhyming

with the second. So, I offer mine in

celebration.

   I spend lots of time on my blog.

  But sometimes my mind's in a fog.

  I think and I think.

   And then quick as a wink.

   I write one then go for a jog.

They don't have to be honest...do they?
