WAIT A SECOND!
We've all heard it said! Time flies by.
Well this year it seems to be flying by
quicker than ever. You see we all live on
planet earth which rotates on its own axis.
Generally that spin takes 24 hours. We
call it a day. Now today is "Earth Rotation
Day." But my old buddy Rusty
Fender who now does some work for
NASA says, for the first time in recorded
history, the earth's rotation has increased
speed a bit! As a result scientists may have
to take one second off the world atomic
clock to sync it with the rotation of the
planet. There's a lot of science involved
but the bottom line for you and me is....
don't waste a second! Hope you're well
