        YOU EAT LIKE A BIRD!

  My grandson Ryan climbed up a
ladder to install a new bird feeder
on one of our kitchen windows last
week.
   We like birds and have enjoyed
providing some seeds for them over
the years. Our last feeder, however,
proved to be a bit of a problem.
    It was attached to a bean along
the roof of our front porch. Last
year, while leaving the house, a
came within 6 feet of a bear
standing on its hind legs and raiding
the feeder. Seems this bruin eats
like a bird!
     That feeder came down while we
looked for something "safer" to
replace it.
      Our daughter-in-law came up
with the answer. She has a feeder
that's attached to a window and it
looked just right for our kitchen
where the windows are rather high
off the ground.
      It's a little more of a challenge
to fill but that doesn't have to be done
all that often.
       Now we can look out that window
and catch view of a bird from time to
time.
        Should I come face to face with
a bear that big.....the feed is all his!!!!
