AND THEN ALONG CAME MARY!

     AND THEN ALONG CAME MARY!

   Fall officially arrived at 9:30 AM Tuesday
so by now some of you have been in at least
partial isolation since Spring showed up in
March. We're hold up at our friend's cottage
here on Vinalhaven Island in Maine. But that's
only for a few days.
     It was a lot worse for poor Mary Mallon!
Today is her Birthday!Like most of us
she didn't want to be quarantined at all. But she
resisted social distancing so much she was arrested
and was put on trial!
     Next time you're upset about how long you've
been keeping your distance consider the fact that
Mary lived in isolation for nearly 30 years.
      No Covid involved in her case....you may
remember her by her nickname...Typhoid Mary!
