SHIP AHOY!
On Monday we boarded the ferry boat for
the hour plus cruise to Vinalhaven Island a few
mines off the coast of Maine. We're visiting my
old friend there for a few days. There are all
kinds of activities on the small island. You can
eat lobster or take a nap. You can sit on the
porch and watch the sunrise or sunset, or take a
nap. You can read a book. Or you can take a nap.
We're alreaady enjoyed our lobster dinner and
sunset (as I write) is long since passed. I forgot
to bring a book so it would seem my option is
to take a nap. Perhaps the first of many on this
quiet, peaceful island! Hope you're well and
