Is Your Time Running Out?

       Thousands of people, like us,  head to the
 Jersey shore for their summer vacation!
       Communities and businesses along the
coast are very happy to see them because
tourists mean revenue!
       But there's a catch!
       They've only got the summer months to
make their money!
        And they know just how to do it!
        Prices not only shoot up during June,
July, and August. They actually vary from
weekday to weekend.
        The Parking lot near our apartment
charges $10 for 6 hours Monday through
Thursday. But, come Friday, that same
lot wants $20 for a 6-hour stay!
         The City knows how to make money
from parking too!
         You can park at a meter and go to the
beach for just a nickel.....IF you're planning
to stay for just 2 minutes!
          4 minutes will cost you a dime, You
can enjoy 10 minutes if you've got a
quarter!
          At least the city makes it easy to pay!
          It allows you to pay by cell phone!
          And you'd better read the directions
on the signs and meters here.
          These are not "9 to 5 devices!"
           In these parts there are even "special
zones" where the meters begin at 7pm and go
till 3 in the morning. By then you'd better be
out of those spots!
           It's still a great place to be. Just find
yourself a good spot about 5 blocks from
the beach and a block away from the nearest
meter!
