Photo Finish

It's a subject I touched on in my last Blog.
Sort of.
After near 100 degree temperatures on
Wednesday there's definitely a touch of Fall
in the air now!
We thought we might see a lot of color
in the leaves as we traveled through New
England. But most of the countryside was
still as green as it's been all summer.
We snapped a couple of pictures here and
there when we did spot some color and were
then surprised when we returned home and
found trees not far from out home starting
to show their Autumn orange and yellows.
When I compared the photos from there
and here it became pretty clear we're running
neck and neck!
Fall colors mean big business in New
England! Tour buses head there, from here,
throughout late September and October.
I wonder how many buses are coming
the other way?
The leaves may peak at different times.
But I'm thinking, when it comes to which look
best, this may very well be a Photo Finish!
We can't lure folks from Connecticut or
New Hampshire with leaves and lobster. But,
maybe, we can coax them with color and
Kielbasi!?
Hope it's a really colorful season and
that all your NEWS is good!
