      BUT SERIOUSLY FOLKS...

    A funny thing happened on the way
to  this blog folks. I told my grandson
"Hey, if you take a bath," and he threw
in the punchline "Put it back!"
     It's just one of the jokes my son and
I are trying to drill into Anthony who
will be 4 in August. Time he learns
"standup."
      I mention this intense educational
project today because July 24th is
"Tell An Old Joke Day!"
      It's also "National Tell A Joke Day."
      The only difference is that one
encourages you to tell jokes while
the other seeks to preserve classic
humor by retelling the jokes that
have stood the test of time. We
probably all know somebody who
tells the same old joke every time we
see them. Today is their day!
        I believe Anthony already has
three answers explaining why the
chicken crossed the road.
         Of course we started him slow.
 Ask him what you call a bear with
no teeth and he'll quickly tell you
that's a Gummy Bear!
          So join in the fun today by
tossing a couple one liners into the
conversation or coming up with a
few "Knock Knock jokes."
