ONWARD, TO THE 50'S!

  ONWARD, TO THE 50'S!

  I've been evaluating the evidence
and I think I finally see where we're
headed! It's the past! Maybe even the
50's!
   Think about it! In 1950 gas cost
about 27 cents a gallon. That's almost
equal to the $2 or so rate we;re paying
now.
  In N Out Burger chain in California
opened the first Fast Food Drive Through
in 1948! Now, everybody's doing drive
through or take out service.
   And right now the only way we're
getting back into a movie theater is
by going to a Drive In.
    Drive In's hit their peak in the
1950's and early 60's. About now
we're wishing a few more had survived!
     And speaking of surviving we could
sure use a Jonas Salk right now. He
came up with the Polio vaccine in
1955. All in all, not a bad decade
to revisit!
